As the story begins, we are introduced to a young boy named Daoming Si, who dreams of becoming the greatest (Martial Art Successor) the world has ever seen. However, his weak physique and lack of natural talent seem to thwart his ambitions at every turn. Nevertheless, Daoming Si perseveres. Consequently, he comes across an ancient forbidden manga detailing the Celestial Sword technique. Subsequently, he begins secretly practicing its dangerous moves.

Meanwhile, the malevolent Demon Cult is plotting to resurrect the evil Serpent God. In order to do so, they need to sacrifice a powerful (Martial Art Successor). They eventually set their sights on Daoming Si’s Master Yu, who took Daoming Si in as an orphan and taught him the basics of martial arts.

Master Yu becomes gravely ill under mysterious circumstances. As a result, Daoming Si intensifies his training in order to master the Celestial Sword technique and avenge his Master. Through a fortuitous encounter, he obtains the legendary Celestial Sword, which augments his abilities tremendously. Empowered, Daoming Si confronts the Demon Cult just as they are about to sacrifice Master Yu. An epic battle ensues. Despite the odds, Daoming Si prevails using his newfound sword skills. Thereby, he foils the Demon Cult’s evil plans, rescues his Master, and proves himself as a worthy (Martial Art Successor).
